This is our first post and the first day of our adventure. We moved out of our tiny San Francisco apartment today and are preparing to leave Monday morning for our roadtrip. Living in San Francisco has been amazing and will always be the city where we became a family. The unknown that is to come is so exciting that its hard not to think about the future, without forgetting the wonderful past. For our last San Francisco meal we took in a late night dinner at Brazenhead, a fabulously yummy restuarant on Greenwich, with no sign out front, a perfect steak and the best dirty martini's in the world.
Why we made the decision to change our life so dramatically is hard to pindown. As I like to say, we are actively avoiding a midlife crisis. However, from the moment we made the decision everything has fallen into place giving us a sense of trust in the slightly unformed plan we have! Don't get me wrong this is not easy, but if it was, wouldn't everybody do it?
For those of you looking to follow along with our journey, we will be starting on Monday with LA where we will enjoy good friends and good food from some of our favorite LA places. If you cannot tell we are foodies with a taste for life and cannot wait to eat and enjoy our great country and the world beyond it.
We would love suggestions and cannot wait to share all our adventures with you!
Lots of Love,
E & T
