Renewed, Revised and Recharged

Well it has been months since we have posted anything on our dear old blog. We've had many adventures in that time, but I have been trying to find a good way to share them all with you. I've realized during this time as we changed our life from a one bedroom, 800 sqft apartment in San Francisco to a one bedroom, 80 sq meter apartment in Schaffhausen, that we have had a lot more changes than just our location. We have had to learn how to make the most out of life in a new situation and with, how shall I say, far less resources then we are used to.

In the last 8 months, we have moved from San Francisco to Switzerland, sold most of our belongings, including our car, dropped our kitty cats off at grandma's house for an extended visit, Terrence quit his job and started graduate school, I changed the terms of my job and started speaking die Deutsch. In doing all of this we have realized a few things: 1) change is hard; 2) change is fun; 3) change is expensive!

So in order to make the most of our experiences we have become experts at the bargain shopping experience. We thought, in these economic times, others might want to know what we've learned and could appreciate some help in world wide bargain shopping. Because this was started as a travel blog, I am going to keep with that theme. From here on out we will be sharing our adventures with you and including some insight on how to get the most bang for your buck while exploring the world.

Pictures will be included because, really, that is the fun part!

I'll be back with some of our adventures and some of our lessons in bargain hunting. As always EAT and Enjoy!
